The competition is open to all Elementary and Junior High School learners nationwide. To ensure fair and balanced groupings, participants are grouped strictly according to their respective grade levels and area of mathematical operation chosen.

BrainBee Education operates in full compliance with national educational directives. Please take note of the following safeguards established under DepEd Advisory No. 105, s. 2026:
Voluntary Participation: Joining the competition is completely voluntary for all learners and coaches.
Non-Disruption of Classes: The schedules strictly respect instructional time, adhering to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2026 (Three-Term School Calendar) and DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005.
No-Collection Policy: In strict adherence to RA No. 5546, no fees shall be collected by school heads or teachers. Parents register and process payments directly with BrainBee Education.
